Hour 12 - 7pm - 8pm

1) How are you doing? Sleepy? Are your eyes tired? Feeling a bit tired. Unfortunately, I also have to leave for work at 8:30 pm, but I can do some more reading at work! :-) Not sure if I will be able to participate in the challenges and keep blogging on my Kindle Fire but I will give it a try when I leave since I have to be awake all night anyhow.
2) What have you finished reading? Only finished a SpongeBob book with my daughter. Still working on Inferno by Dan Brown, seems to be taking me forever.
3) What is your favorite read so far? Should I have read an entire book by now? LOL I am really going slow!
4) What about your favorite snacks? little mini pizzas and cheesey tater skins
5) Have you found any new blogs through the readathon? If so, give them some love! I had fun visiting some blogs but darned if I remember the names!

Thanks for doing these read-a-thons! I really enjoy getting to participate!

I'm getting a little bit of a late start this morning, but very excited to see how much I can do!

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Upstate NY
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? Thread and Buried by Janet Bolin
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? cheesy tater skins
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I'm a single Mom, pet lover, work with disabled people. Love to read but seem to end up too busy to get as much done as I would like to most of the time.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I haven't participated in a read-a-thon since April 2011. I used to do them religiously but got away from it back then and am going to try hard not to let that happen again. I'm going to try to relax more and not worry about the household for one day.

Monthly Mix-Up Mania: 2013 - 2015 Edition Challenge

Monthly Mix-Up Mania: 2013 - 2015 Edition Challenge

January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013
Hosted by: The Book Dragon's Lair

What: To read a book for each letter in the year. That's right, a title for the J in January and the A in January, etc.... 74 books total!

Official Start date: April 1, 2013, because we're fools to try this but any book read since 1-1-11 that you didn't already use for the 2011-2013 edition counts ;)

End date: March 31, 2015, yes, two years, because well, we have other challenges to do ;)

Guidelines:

  • only one letter per book
  • books can be moved around if it fits better somewhere else after you've read it
  • the letter doesn't have to be the first word, just the first letter of a word in the title (aan, and the do not count)
  • reviews aren't necessary but a quick "I read for letter... it was about... I did/not like it" would be nice and can be left in the comments.
  • if you decide to join in, create a post on your blog telling others then come back and link up (to the actual post, not just your blog's home page)
  • a blog is not necessary, just comment on that month's post.
  • the most important thing is to have fun!

For more information and to sign-up, please see this post.
